Trees Atlanta Inc was founded by a coalition of hair health advocates, medical professionals, and cancer survivors who witnessed a glaring inequity in healthcare: insurance companies frequently classify medical cranial prostheses as "luxury cosmetic items," leaving vulnerable patients to face immense out-of-pocket expenses during an already financially draining crisis.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, our organization was built to rewrite that narrative. We establish direct partnerships with ethical hair collectors and specialized medical wig manufacturers to build units that prioritize scalp comfort, realistic aesthetics, and thermal breathability. What started as a localized grassroots initiative has grown into a structured national network, ensuring survivors across the United States can reclaim their image with absolute dignity.
